Day 1 at the HACT (Housing Association Charitable Trust) Social Value Conference 2026 – and already a powerful reminder that social value only matters if it’s felt by people, not just measured on paper.
Our Social Value Coordinator Martin Belfrage, attended the event and took away a clear message: There’s a clear shift happening. From outputs to outcomes, reporting to accountability, and from intention to real, lived impact.
At East West Connect, this really resonates with how we approach delivery – particularly the focus on:
- Working closely with Community Groups and local communities
- Creating opportunities around employment, skills and engagement
- And ensuring social value is something we do, not just something we report
Our work with Peabody includes the development of a Community Investment Plan that will map our delivery and community engagement.
We’re already looking forward to the next sessions and conversations – and reflecting on how we translate this into meaningful action.
