Passive Fire Informative Session

We were delighted to host an informative session on the Building Safety Act and Gateway Process, delivered by the highly respected Paul Nash. The event was attended by representatives from our valued clients, including Peabody and Riverside, as well as prospective clients from Sanctuary Housing. We were also pleased to see colleagues from various East West Connect departments in attendance.

A huge thank you must go to Paul Nash for sharing his extensive knowledge and experience. As a recognised industry leader, former President and Fellow of the CIOB, and a member of the Building Advisory Committee established under the Building Safety Act to advise the Building Safety Regulator, Paul provided invaluable insight into the legislation, regulatory changes, and the practical implications for the construction and fire safety sectors.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to the discussion. It was encouraging to see so many professionals taking the opportunity to expand their knowledge and better understand the responsibilities and challenges introduced by the Building Safety Act and Gateway regime. The legislation places a strong emphasis on accountability, competence, and safety throughout the lifecycle of a building.

Events such as this demonstrate East West Connects commitment to continuous learning, collaboration, and raising standards across our industry. By sharing knowledge and engaging with experts, clients, and colleagues alike, we are all taking positive steps towards creating safer buildings and safer communities for everyone.

Thank you again to Paul Nash and all those who attended for making the event such a success.
