East West Connect’s Social Value Coordinator Martin attended the fantastic Women in DIY event delivered by YouthBuild Ventures UK and partners.
This focused on helping local women develop practical skills, build confidence and explore opportunities within construction and the built environment.
Events like this play an important role in breaking down barriers and encouraging more women to explore careers in industries where they have traditionally been underrepresented, and we’re delighted to play a part in this journey.
As an organisation with strong female leadership, East West Connect is proud to support initiatives that empower women, challenge stereotypes and promote greater diversity across our industry.
