It was a pleasure to represent East West Connect at the Westminster Employment Service Youth Careers and Opportunities Event.
The event provided a fantastic opportunity to speak with young people about careers in construction, property services and the wide range of pathways available within our industry.
From apprenticeships and traineeships to long-term careers, it was encouraging to see so many motivated young people keen to learn more about the sector and the skills needed to succeed.
It was also great to catch up with Tina Kessie, Economic Inclusion Lead at Peabody, to discuss ongoing employment, skills and community initiatives. These conversations are invaluable in helping us identify opportunities to work together and deliver meaningful social value across the communities we serve.
Events like these play an important role in bridging the gap between education and employment while strengthening partnerships between employers, housing providers and community organisations.
A huge thank you to the Westminster Employment Service team for organising such a valuable event.
We look forward to continuing to support initiatives that help young people develop the confidence, skills and knowledge needed for successful careers.
