What does a cleaner, greener Perivale look like?
We asked local young people, and they certainly delivered!
East West Connect, working alongside St Nicholas Church through the Perivale Community Partnership, recently ran a poster competition encouraging young people to create a design promoting the important message of keeping Perivale clean.
We were absolutely inundated with fantastic submissions, full of creativity, colour and some brilliant environmental messages. Choosing the winners was certainly not easy!
Congratulations to our first, second and third-place winners, who received books about recycling and the environment. A very special congratulations goes to our overall winner, whose poster will be displayed in the local area for the wider community to see.
East West Connect was delighted to support the initiative by:
- Funding the printing of the posters
- Providing the prizes for our winners
- Providing refreshments on the day
A huge well done to everyone who took part and helped spread such a positive message about taking pride in our local environment.
