As part of our long-term mission towards supporting our local community, East West Connect’s Social Value Coordinator Martin Belfrage visited Pembury Community Centre to see the impact their food distribution programme makes.
Based within Pembury Community Centre, Precious Lives is an organisation committed to supporting Peabody with consistent, reliable food distribution that ensures no one goes hungry.
The work they do is nothing short of remarkable. Week in, week out, their team is there to help those who need it most – promoting a safe, accessible route to support.
East West Connect is continually committed to prioritising our social value and helping however we can – this collaboration opportunity with Precious Lives helped highlight just how important this continues to be.
Whether it’s helping create pathways into work, supporting spaces like this, or working alongside organisations already making a difference, we’re proud of the small part we play to enhance life in Peabody.
