Plant Replacement

This project entails multiple pump replacements and comprehensive electrical system upgrades across multiple disciplines.

Working closely with the client, we have developed a strategic approach to capital plant replacement that prioritizes their carbon reduction objectives while also ensuring zero disruption to the building.

We are currently undergoing works in the basement of the building, eight pumps have reached their end of operational lifecycle and need to be replaced in order to meet the clients requirements for sustainability and enhance the overall building efficiency.

We prioritize sustainable practices throughout our renovation work by using the water treatment process Hydrosphere, which saves thousands of litres of water throughout the entire pump replacement process. We also reuse existing pipework where possible to reduce waste and minimise our environmental impact.

We have conducted a complete upgrade to the emergency lighting on the 30th floor of the building to accommodate the floor redesign for the incoming tenants. We have installed new service areas and partition walls for the redesign of the office area. EICR testing has also been completed across multiple floors to meet regulations and standards.

The team has also replaced the landlord’s distribution boards, this work was carried out of normal operating hours to ensure the building could remain fully operational, minimizing disruption to tenants and maintaining essential services throughout the upgrade process.
