We strive to leave a positive and lasting impact on the lives of people within the communities we work.

We encourage charitable donations whenever possible, and we support and sponsor our staff on marathons, sponsored walks, and other fundraising events across the UK.

Supporting terminally ill children and their families.

We have chosen Haven House Children’s Hospice as a local charity to partner with over the coming year and hopefully beyond. We recently held a charity fundraising event for them, raising over £40,000, and we have further plans to provide more support over the coming year.

Haven House Children’s Hospice cares for seriously ill babies and children by creating a caring environment for them and their families while they go through the toughest of times.

We also took part in an extremely rainy gardening day! Our staff tended to the beautiful grounds to make sure that the children in residence could have safe access to their outdoor play areas.

More recently, our team had the pleasure of joining Haven House Children’s Hospice for their 20th anniversary ball at The Londoner, Leicester Sq.

It was a fantastic evening of fun and fundraising, and the event raised over £170,000 for the charity. We’re proud to work closely with Haven House, and it’s an honour to support the great work that they do caring for children and families during the toughest of times.

We sponsor and fundraise for local good causes.

Where possible we provide our time and knowledge to local charitable groups, to help assist and transform the way that they can support their local communities. We proudly sponsor both the Harwell & Hendred U8s football team and the Docklands JFC U10s by providing kits, training materials, and coaching by our members of staff.

We also sponsor newly formed London cricket team East West Connect CC, a local cricket team who play in the Last Man Stands London league, and they provide a great environment for people to enjoy their cricket and make new friends.

We have worked with SPLASH in East London to help vulnerable persons find safe housing and the Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund, providing terminally ill children a better quality of life. Our staff volunteer to assist with children’s camps to help with computer literacy, cookery, and other life skills. Our staff have built and supported a website for Hackney based charity Children With Voices.

Helping our staff and our local community.

We take pride in our active role within our local community and one of our core business values is to leave a positive impact on the lives of those who live within all of the areas that we work.

Alongside helping those outside of our business we continually develop, nurture, and provide opportunities for our staff, and help them achieve both their professional, and personal goals.

We have a continuous apprenticeship scheme across all sectors of our business to help bring through the next generation of local, hard working talent. This is strengthened by our ties with Langley College, from whom we employ a school leaver as an apprentice on an annual basis; and with the University of Greenwich, from where we employ graduates as trainee engineers.
