We utilise safe and sustainable methodologies to proactively negate the risk of completing our works.

Health and safety is the key focus of all parties. We have clearly defined roles, responsibilities, accountabilities, and authorities for all members of staff.

Continuously striving and constantly improving.

The most dynamic safety cultures find a balance between open and honest reporting, and action on negligent behaviour.  Our Quality, Safety, Health and Environment (QSHE) team is celebrated as the benchmark for fairness and is the guardian of our standards. We apply these standards to all workers and stakeholders in our business, including our approved supply chain members.

Our QSHE Team provide site wide support by developing our policy and procedures which communicate how our activities are to be conducted whilst establishing the right behaviours.  We are constantly finding different ways to engage with our workers and approved supply chain members.

By showing flexibility and appropriate use of language, mixed with credible and competently delivered information, we always hit the right note. There is no point having an important message, well supported by top management, if it cannot translate into positive behaviours in the workplace.

Always evolving in an ever changing world.

To ensure our ongoing success, our QSHE teams continue to work across our entire business, understanding the different challenges we face and how best to integrate our developed best practices. We recognise the need to have a range of different contract styles to get the job done.

Our culture is built on day-to-day hard work, measuring and monitoring important data but empowering and allowing our management the freedoms to manage the risks they deal with.

We trust our teams to do the right thing. If we do not exceed the required standard, we believe in open and honest feedback, using the information we gather and collate to learn and evolve.

Great wellbeing support for all of our staff.

The welfare and mental health of our staff are paramount. We have taken proactive measures to address this by organising dedicated wellbeing and mental health days for all employees.

These informative sessions have been conducted by licensed psychotherapists who have imparted valuable advice and techniques to help our colleagues effectively manage the mental strain associated with their daily work.

We are committed to providing comprehensive support for our employees’ mental health. Through our HR department, we ensure that access to vital resources, such as GP services, counselling, and various wellbeing programs, is readily available.

We prioritise creating an environment where individuals feel supported and have access to the necessary tools and assistance to maintain their mental wellbeing.

Excellent safety management at all times.

We consider that good health and safety is not just a function of the QHSE team but is an inclusive requirement of all personnel working on our projects whether they are on site or are working remotely.

Our approach is to include and accept responsibility for our own actions and that of others, therefore working together as a coherent team rather than an QHSE team “who visit site” we undertake recorded inspections/audits and on site discussions.

Our activities are planned to consider all associated risk, we take into consideration and apply the highest requirements of the general principals of prevention in all that we do. Our latest forms and procedures are updated online for easy access, this highly adaptable system provides a foundation which is followed by all staff that can be modified to suit the specific needs of our clients and their works.

Working to ensure a safer future on site.

What steps do we take to guarantee a safe working environment?
