East West Connect is proud to share the completion of an important community-focused project by our Maintenance Team at Brunel Estate in Westbourne Park.
Designed with the local community at heart, the space now offers 13 purpose-built areas that enable grassroots organisations, charities and the council to deliver vital services, workshops and community-led projects.
Our work was delivered in phases, responding to the evolving needs of the people using the building:
- Phase one focused on building a usable space, carrying out essential repairs, decoration and initial fit-out works.
- Phase two followed feedback from hall users and included external pathway works, roofing repairs, new flooring to the main hall and additional areas.
- Further improvements saw new flooring installed throughout the remaining rooms, a new gas supply added for the kitchen hob, and a 3-phase power supply installed for a Rational oven.
We also completed a full refurbishment of the children’s toilet facilities, including new polyfloor flooring, a butler sink, wudu basin and baby change unit.
A fantastic example of collaborative working and delivering spaces that truly serve the community.
