Project Complete: Mulberry Schools for Girls

Over the summer holidays, East West Connect completed essential upgrades at Mulberry Schools for Girls – ensuring minimal disruption to students and staff while delivering high-quality, long-lasting improvements.

This year’s focus was upgrades to the Car Park Plantroom. The works included the decommissioning and removal of existing calorifiers, HWS pumps, and associated parts, followed by the installation of new calorifiers, high-efficiency HWS pumps, and the relining of the existing flue system. All new equipment was connected to existing services, thoroughly tested, and commissioned to ensure full functionality and compliance with regulations.

In addition, we replaced the school’s Cold Water Storage Tanks (CWSTs). Four old tanks were removed and disposed of, and a new 3,000L CWST was installed with all necessary pipework modifications. The system was then tested, disinfected, and commissioned to ensure operational readiness.

This project is part of our phased multi-year plan to upgrade and modernize the school’s facilities, delivering efficient, reliable systems that benefit staff and students alike.

A huge thank you to our dedicated team for completing this vital work seamlessly over the summer!
