We replaced the 3 existing chillers, with 2.5MW of cooling capacity, with high efficiency multi-staged screw chillers, to produce a carbon reduction of around 80 tonnes of CO2 per annum. We achieved this with zero disruption to building users, and with an emergency crane lift to ensure no loss of cooling during the summer.

The works took place within a fully live office block, we managed the programme around the particular requirements of the client, making sure that at least 3 of the 4 chillers to the building were live at any one time. Our trademark impact board kept the building’s users abreast of our works at all times, providing helpful information on the progress of the project, and the benefits to the building of its completion.
