East West Connect cricket club get their first win!

East West Connect cricket club gained their first win in their second fixture of the season, beating the London Shooters by 5 wickets. We’re proud to sponsor the team formerly named Shaheen Utd. Shaheen is Urdu for eagle, and we’ve incorporated the eagle onto their new crest for this season, flying over the East West Connect globe.

The team plays in the Harrow league of the Last Man Stands cricket tournament, this is a worldwide competition, and our team have the chance of going all the way to the world finals in South Africa… let’s hope they hit plenty of sixes!
